9 - 5 Musical set for 2026 Tour Revival
A new UK tour of 9 to 5 the Musical will open at Peterborough New Theatre on 4 July 2026.
Based on the hit 1980 film starring Dolly Parton, the show features her catchy songs and tells the story of three office workers who team up to get back at their awful boss.
After opening in Peterborough, the tour will visit Queen’s Theatre Barnstaple, Blackpool Grand Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford, and Darlington Hippodrome.
This production marks Landmark Theatres’ first in-house show to tour across the country. It’s directed by Paul Jepson, with Mark Crossland as Musical Supervisor and Amanda Stoodley designing the sets and costumes.
Jepson said:
“This tour is an exciting new step for Landmark. We’re proud to create vibrant, inclusive theatre that celebrates the joy of live performance.”
9 to 5 the Musical first premiered on Broadway in 2009 and later ran in London’s West End, earning praise for its humor, heart, and empowering message.
