Norwich Theatre and Valid Productions have announced the cast for their co-production of Carlos Acostaโs Nutcracker in Havana, choreographed and directed by Carlos Acosta CBE.
Following a hugely successful premiere in 2024, the critically acclaimed production returns for a second UK tour starting 31 October 2025 at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, and ending 11 February 2026 at its original home, Norwich Theatre Royal.
Nutcracker in Havana is a vibrant Cuban reimagining of the festive ballet classic, featuring a newly arranged version of Tchaikovskyโs score by Cuban composer Pepe Gavilondo. The production blends classical ballet with Cuban dance traditions and features more than 20 dancers from Acostaโs company, Acosta Danza.
The cast includes:
