HADESTOWN
WELCOMES AN EXCITING NEW CAST
AS THE CELEBRATED PRODUCTION HEADS INTO ITS
THIRD YEAR IN THE WEST END
From 10 March 2026, a new cast will join the critically acclaimed Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre, London, as the production enters its third year in the West End.
Rachel Adedeji will play Persephone, Bethany Antonia (House of the Dragon) stars as Eurydice, and Marley Fenton takes on the role of Orpheus. Alastair Parker joins the company as Hades, with Olivier Award winner Clive Rowe playing Hermes.
Spike Maxwell joins Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae as the Fates. Gabriela Benedetti joins the Workers, alongside Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham and Sebastian Lim-Seet. Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda, Jasmine Triadi and new cast member Milly Willows will perform as Swings.
With music, lyrics and book by Anaïs Mitchell, and directed by Rachel Chavkin, Hadestown blends folk, jazz, blues and pop to tell two intertwined love stories: Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. The musical takes audiences on a journey to the underworld and back in a powerful, hopeful theatrical experience.
The creative team includes David Neumann (Choreography), Rachel Hauck (Scenic Design), Michael Krass (Costume Design), Bradley King (Lighting Design), Nevin Steinberg and Jessica Paz (Sound Design), with casting by Jacob Sparrow and Rob Kelly.
Hadestown is produced in London by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, Tom Kirdahy and the National Theatre, in association with JAS Theatricals.
The production is now booking through to Sunday 13 December 2026. A new booking extension for performances from September to December 2026 goes on sale at 12pm on Monday 26 January 2026.
