The world’s biggest celebration of Musical Theatre: Musical Con reveals its full weekend schedule

Musical Con 2025 has revealed its complete schedule, returning for its fourth annual edition with a show-stopping weekend of performances, inspiring panels, and star-studded meet-and- greets. The weekend long musical extravaganza will welcome thousands of dedicated fans and will feature over 80 special guests over two days of non-stop programming, across multiple features. On the Main Stage, the spotlight will shine on 2025 Guests of Honour Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Cabaret), alongside West End icon Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You). The opening and closing ceremonies promise unforgettable performances from Layton Williams (Cabaret; Strictly Come Dancing; Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Andy Nyman (The Producers), Shanay Holmes (Oliver!), Jeevan Briach (Starlight Express), Lauren Drew (Titanique), Zoe Birkett (Tina: The Musical), and newly announced guests such as Jess Folley (Burlesque). Audiences will enjoy a special feature on the West End hit The Producers and a larger than life puppetry demonstration from Disney’s The Lion King. Fans will be the first to experience exciting new musicals, including Jo: The Little Women Musical featuring Rob Houchen, Kelly Mathieson, and Chilina Kennedy, and Wild About You starring Cassidy Janson (&Juliet) and Dean John- Wilson (Death Note). The weekend will also celebrate 15 years of Paul Taylor-Mills productions with performances from Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie), May Tether (Heathers), and Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie & Clyde The Musical), culminating in a very special announcement.

photo Mark SeniorOther highlights include surprise cast reunions, performances from Emma Flynn, Frances McCann and Keelan Mcauly and a fan quiz hosted by Hannah Lowther, and a reunion with the stars of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream. All this plus the infamous Cosplay competition, the Lip Sync Battle, the Star of Musical Con talent contest, and the game show will all be returning to the convention.
The Backstage Theatre will get all the gossiping, hosting fan panels and discussions, including Burn Book with Mean Girls stars Charlie Burn and Ellie Skye, and When the Chips Are Down with Hadestown alumni Allie Daniels, Melanie Bright, Francesca Daniella-Baker, and Madeline Charlemagne. And don’t miss viral sensation Brett Boyles who will break down the magic behind some of musical theatre’s most beloved songs, while further Q&;A sessions will tackle important topics such as LGBTQIA+ representation, diversity, and accessibility across the industry.
Aspiring performers will have the rare opportunity to participate in workshops and masterclasses led by some of theatre’s finest, including West End and Broadway choreographer Gary Lloyd (Heathers), Layton Williams and an official Disney’s Hercules workshop where fans can learn a routine straight from the show.
Between sessions, fans can immerse themselves in the Theatreland Exhibition, which includes amassive Disney exhibition and photo opportunity with Matilda The Musical. As well as the opportunity to head to Stage Door for meet-and-greets with a number of the stars, and shop till they drop at the Theatreland marketplace, home to a plethora of exclusive merchandise.
